This is different from what I usually do, I know. I just felt like trying something new.
This is my friend Tito, he's a rad photographer, knew him since he was in jr. High, now he's a 3rd year college student in ...photography? I guess, or something similar, I'm confused.
Anyways, what I did was trace his silhouette and a few details here and there from a photo I guess he took of himself, with my tablet in photoshop, then I stopped tracing and started inking still keeping the photo on the side for reference, and after that I started experimenting with brushes, gradients and filters and this is the final result.
